CSI Blood Pool - Thinkers in Education CSI Workshops For Schools. A female forensic scientist looking at a bullet through a magnifying glass - with blood spatter in the background set the scene of this two hour activity.

Include up to 72 pupils per day

A body has been found with blood on its hands - but is it the sign of a murder?  Students will work in teams to determine what really happened by analysing the crime scene photos, typing suspects blood and conducting DNA fingerprints to see who has been where in the crime scene.  Every participant will learn the key scientific concepts and practical skills ready to conduct each forensic test like a professional - to avoid evidence contamination.  But players need to use their detective minds to determine the evidence that is most important and what it actually proves.  A different case, developing the same skills, is delivered in each session when two are hosted in a day.
